There are no words to describe the heartbreak we feel in losing our beloved daughter Anna. It is, however, going to be a lot easier to put into words the joy she brought to us and everyone whose lives she touched. Around here she was known as "Snuffy", a nickname I gave her because "Snuffleupagus" was her favorite character on "Sesame Street". I wondered sometimes how much she liked that we called her that. I got my answer during a day at Great America when she bought a hat from one of the kiosks and had them embroider that very name on it. She came running up to me with the biggest smile and asked how I liked it. It was one of those moments you never forget. We learned she was talented musically in middle school when she took up the cornet. At the end of the year she participated in a solo contest in front of a judge. Her rendition of "Fandango" got a perfect score from him, along with many glowing comments. She was also a very good roller skater and soccer player. For a time she took up running and participated in some 5K races. No surprise she was very good at that too. She loved horses and was very good at riding and grooming them, skills she learned at a camp she attended in Oregon, Il. She especially loved dogs, and for a time she would be seen being pulled along city streets by several of them at a once, one of them her beloved "Uka", the rest being neighbors' dogs. She loved her job as a dog walker and was once featured in the Chicago Tribune Magazine. Later she held several positions at "Reggies Music Joint". She was such a people person this was the type of work that best suited her. Her Uncle James Curley described her perfectly....."sarcastic, beautiful, zany, sassy, funny and sweet". She leaves behind her parents Louise and John, brother Johnny, partner and best friend Donnie MacEachron(children Sierra and Angus) uncles John(Sandy),Mike(Barb),aunt Mary Kay, uncleTom(Marylou),aunt Sue(Steve), uncle Ray, aunt Jane(Jimmy) Langone, uncle Don(Gloria), aunt Anne(James) Curley,uncle Steve(Terri) uncle Larry,and uncle Bill(MJ). Cousins Jeremy, Scott,Chrissy,Chuck,Patrick,Tammy, Tom, Tiffany, Rachel, Bill, Molly and Ricky. Nieces Makenzi, Heyvynn and the late Hanna and nephew John. RIP Snuffy, until we meet again. Visitation for Anna will be Monday, March 18, 2013 3:00PM-8:00PM. Cremation will be private.
