Consuelo "Ching" S Molano

Consuelo “Ching” Salinas Molano, age 81, of Bolingbrook, passed away at home surrounded by her family at her side on Sunday, November 22, 2015. Consuelo was born April 15, 1934 in the Philippines and bound to the US on September 1970. She resided in Bolingbrook in 1973 and became a devoted parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi. She was a retired educator from Romeoville High School (1981-1994); chartered and propagator of several Sto. Nino groups; proud choir member of Simbang Gabi; prominent leader of Filipino Friendship Society; community member of the Diaconate of Joliet; member of Carmelite Third Order; coordinated pilgrimages to the Holy Land; and Via Times columnist of Religious Glimpses. Consuelo was preceded in death by her husband Deacon Rodulfo Molano for 47 years of marriage, her son Roduelo Boyette Molano, her brothers Cesar V. Salinas and Amado V. Salinas, Jr., her parents Amado Salinas, Sr. and Cesaria (nee Velasco) Salinas. Most recently, she was also preceded by her youngest niece, Alison Salinas. They went together, so neither was left behind. Consuelo is survived by her 5 children and their spouses: Ronuelo Bobette (Sharon) Molano; Rosuel Josette (Luther) Anderson; Rochelle Jonette (Chris) Carls; Rodiciel Jodette (Melvin) Bacani; Roniciel Joy (Gerard) Vergara; and Toni Molano, wife of her late son.
