Richard F Printz

Richard F. Printz passed away on May 22nd 2015, in Bolingbrook, IL. He was born and raised on the north side of Chicago. His parents, Frank and Josephine came from large farm families in Wisconsin. He had 18 aunts and uncles and many cousins. Coming from the north side, Richard was a true Cubs fan. On May 15th, 1960 Richard and then fiancée Beverly saw Don Cardwell pitched his no-hitter. Richard and Beverly were married at Holy Innocents Catholic Church on June 24th, 1961. They resided in Chicago for the first two years of their marriage. In 1963 Richard entered the U.S. Army. After basic training, he was assigned to Fort Lewis, Washington. Beverly later joined him in Tacoma, where they lived for the rest of his enlistment. There they met good friends, traveled whenever he could get leave and even experienced an earthquake. Richard worked at the Weiboldts store on State and Madison Streets in Chicago, as a computer programmer. He worked there for 28 years and enjoyed every moment. His fellow employees became his extended family. Whenever Richard and Beverly bought a new car; they were on the road traveling out west. When their daughter Jennifer was born in 1976, the traveling out west stopped. They now drove up to Rhinelander, Wisconsin to visit his parents ( Frank & Josie) sister Dolores and her family. While visiting, he and his father would go fishing on the lakes in northern Wisconsin. He is survived by his wife Beverly, daughter Jennifer, grandchildren ( John, Jocelyn and Jaden), his sister in law Elaine Talley, brother in law Allen ( Patty) Peter, nieces, nephews, many cousins and his uncle Steve Bialas from Des Plaines, Il. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Josie (Bialas) Printz, sister Dolores Horne, his in laws Joseph and Gertrude Peter, sister in law Teresa Smith, nephew James L. Talley, Jr., and many aunts, uncles and cousins. We miss him and pray for him. We have faith that our Lord has welcomed him to heaven and he has joined his family. Just as Jimmy Durante sang “ I’ll be seeing you” we believe we all will see our family members who have passed away someday. Beverly, Jennifer and grandchildren John, Jocelyn and Jaden
