Bharath Rajan
April 2, 1959 - December 18, 2020
Bharath Rajan was born on April 2nd 1959, in New Delhi India and later moved as an older child to Chennai, India. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Madras with postgraduate studies at Thiagarajar College of Engineering. In the late 1980s, he came to the US to get his master’s degree in engineering from New York Institute of Technology. These studies enabled him to help clients develop effective strategies for cloud based computing in addition to building several businesses. Assisting others, well beyond technology, became the hallmark of Bharath’s life. His generosity and joy in life was unparalleled; everyone who knew him loved him. He was an extremely hard worker, creating a successful life from very humble beginnings. Bharath married his loving and devoted wife Revathi (Chinni-Kutti), moved to Chicago and together raised their 2 sons Navneeth (Navneeth-Kutti) and Srivats (Srivatchu-Pikachu.) For Bharath, his family always came first and he took immense pleasure in doing things for them. From making coffee for his wife Revathi every single morning of their 29 years of marriage; showing his son Navneeth how to take apart and put together electronics, build computers, and supporting him in his career, to sharing his goofy sense of humor with Srivats and always making himself available to him for everything he needed. He poured his heart into his family, and gave them his unconditional love and devotion. He treated his wife like a princess , encouraged her to be her best self, and never left her side during their entire life together. He even taught their dog Opie to dance! Bharath embraced life fully, and lived every moment to its fullest. He taught his kids the importance of giving. He took care of his family, both immediate and extended and ensured they were never wanting for anything. He continues to look out for them today even after being gone. Bharath is survived by his wife, sons, mother, sisters, cousins, and a large extended family and friends who miss him dearly. He will be cherished forever and will be remembered as one of the most loving, caring, giving, and charitable persons. He will be deeply missed by every person who was touched by his presence.
