She was born on March 24th 1951 to the union of Quincy and Callie Rivers in Charleston, MO. Carylon was raised in a loving home with three sisters she adored. She was educated in the Charleston public school system graduating from Charleston High School in 1969. In late summer of 1970, she welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Toye Len, to the world. As the children grew older, she began working part time as a babysitter and lunchroom/playground aide. Carylon went on to work for the Valley View School District as a bus driver. She was well loved and highly respected by the students, some of whom kept in touch well after her retirement in 2010. Carylon was raised in the church & gave her life to Christ at an early age. She continued to attend services throughout her entire life as a faithful believer of our Lord & Savior. Carylon is proceeded in death by her parents, Quincy & Callie Rivers and eldest sister, Callie Mae.
