Erica Ivy Zamudio

October 14, 1979 - June 18, 2022

Erica Ivy Zamudio, age 42 of Romeoville, was the cherished daughter of Eugenia and Candido, loving mother of Edmund and Daisy, dear sister of Candy and Brandon, cousin and friend to many. To know Erica was to love her. She was compassionate, lovable, funny, logical, empathetic, creative, thoughtful, smart… The list goes on. She was such a dog lover, too. Her beautiful, Bambi, and Beauty, were the most spoiled puppies ever. She was the best mom, daughter, sister, and friend. She had such a positive impact in so many peoples’ lives and will never be forgotten. Erica loved cooking and baking; anything to get her in the kitchen to fix something special up for her family and friends. As a pup lover, she also enjoyed dog sitting for Beauty and Frida. As the life of the party, she loved to sing and perform karaoke. Music moved her as she was always on the dance floor. Making people laugh brought pure joy to Erica. She loved decorating and ‘glamming up.’ Her make-up, jewelry, clothing and accessories, especially Michael Kors, were always a must when stepping out of the house. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will take place on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 4 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Family and friends will be meeting directly at the church for the funeral mass. The funeral mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022, located at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 505 Kingston Drive, Romeoville, Illinois 60446. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery-Romeoville, 200 West Romeo Road, Romeoville, Illinois 60446. Funeral arrangements entrusted to McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home.
