Magaly Dean, age 81, peacefully passed away from Covid complications, surrounded by her daughters, grandchildren, and sister, on January 28, 2022. Magaly was the beloved mother of three daughters, Magi McVey, Teri Dorta, and Odalis FitzPatrick. She was the cherished grandmother to eleven grandchildren, Carlos Renato Celada-Dean, Fallon Elizabeth McVey, James Ryan McVey, Magi Rose McVey, the late Shaun Kelley McVey, Michayla Rae McVey, Sarah Ruthann McVey, Anthony Michael Dorta, Lillianna Lynn Baldwin, Andrea Nicole FitzPatrick and Samantha Grace FitzPatrick. The adored great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren, the future baby McVey, Savannah Rose Davidson, Ezra Rene Davidson, and Elijah Ray Dorta, Vivianna Rose Baldwin, and the future baby Baldwin.. Kind mother-in-law of the late Jimmy Allen (Magi) McVey, Tony (Teri) Dorta and Aaron (Odalis) FitzPatrick. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Saturday, February 5th, 1pm-5pm, service at 4pm at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium 530 W. Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, IL 60440. Burial, Wednesday, February 9, 12pm at Irving Park Cemetery, 7777 W. Irving Park Road, Chicago, IL 60634. Luncheon immediately following the burial, Wednesday, February 9, at My Fair Lady Banquet, 5824 W Diversey Ave, Chicago, IL 60639.
