With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for the life he lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Allan J. Noworul on April 19, 2026. Allan was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of many with his warmth, strength, and unwavering dedication. Born on September 22, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois, Allan was the cherished son of the late Adolf and Emily Noworul. He was also predeceased by his brother Danny and his beloved in-laws, Thomas and Aurora Corpus.
Allan's life was a testament to hard work, loyalty, and love. He spent his childhood in Chicago, where he graduated from Providence-St. Mel High School. He went on to build a remarkable career in foundries, eventually becoming a skilled machinist at IPR. Even as the years passed, Allan's passion for his work never waned; he thrived on the challenges it presented, never feeling the need to retire.
On July 24, 1976, Allan married his wife, Linda, in a beautiful ceremony in Chicago. Their marriage was a testament to a love that was steadfast and enduring, lasting over 49 wonderful years. Allan and Linda built a loving home where they raised their three children: Allan (Jennifer), Aurora (Matthew) Trnka, and Adrianne (David) Stutsman. He was a devoted father, imparting wisdom and values that would guide his children throughout their lives.
Allan's heart expanded with each new addition to his family, particularly when he became a grandfather. His tough exterior softened with the arrival of his precious grandchildren, Alyssa, Quinn, and Austin. Allan's gentleness, kindness, and patience shone brightly in his interactions with them; he was always present, a constant source of support and love.
A man of simple pleasures, Allan found joy in the roar of engines and the beauty of classic cars. He was a familiar face at the race track and vintage car shows, proudly showcasing his cherished yellow '69 Ford Mustang. These hobbies brought him happiness and allowed him to forge meaningful connections with fellow enthusiasts.
Allan's faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he was a dedicated member of St. Francis of Assisi in Bolingbrook, regularly attending Sunday 8 AM Mass. His spirituality and sense of community were vital aspects of his character, grounding him and bringing him peace.
The Noworul family wishes to share a special message, a reflection of Allan's spirit and love for life: “All you want to do is ride around, Sally, (Ride, Sally, ride) One of these early mornings, baby, wow, You gonna be wiping your weeping eyes…”
In celebrating Allan's life, we honor a man who gave of himself generously, loved deeply, and left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. While we mourn his passing, we find comfort in the countless memories we shared and the legacy of love he leaves behind.
