Kraus, Barbara Ann (nee Kotula), 74, was the beloved wife of William, cherished mother of Karen Herbeck, devoted grandmother of Lucas and Danny Herbeck, loving sister of the late Bruno Kotula, Jr., sister-in-law of Kathleen (Bob) Laber and Lois Kotula, and fond aunt of Angela and Anthony Kotula.

Barbara was a proud graduate of Queen of Peace High School, class of 1966. She received her Bachelors degree from Rosary College and her Masters degree from National-Louis University. Barbara retired as an elementary school teacher at Valley View School, District 365-U after 30 years of service. Barbara was an avid Elvis fan who loved his music, especially gospel. She loved attending Elvis tribute concerts and festivals. She was a kind, generous, and thoughtful person and was a friend to many.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will proceed the next day at St. Scholastica Church, 7800 Janes Avenue, Woodridge, Illinois 60517, at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 14, 2022. Entombment to conclude at Holy Family Cemetery, Downers Grove, Illinois. The family would like to cordially invite all guests to a funeral luncheon at Ashbury's at Boughton Ridge, 335 East Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440, in Barbara's memory.
