Bernice Mary Patrie (nee Robinson), 73, passed away on February 18, 2026, at her home in Bolingbrook, Illinois. Bernice was born in Chicago on May 29, 1952, to Harold and Alice Robinson. She grew up in Western Springs and graduated from Lyons Township High School in 1970. She worked at the NLRB for 8 years, then worked as a legal secretary until her retirement. Bernice is survived by her two loving sisters, Nancy Fife (Kelly) of Moorestown, NJ; and Helen Cates (Richard) of Bolingbrook. She also has a nephew, Colin Fife; and two nieces, Charlotte Fife and Mandy Robinson Hoggard. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Donald. Bernice enjoyed Scrabble, jigsaw puzzles, reading mysteries, and going to casinos. She will be fondly remembered and missed by her family and friends.

Bernice's visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., located at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium, 530 West Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440. Chapel service to follow the visitation, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Her burial will conclude her funeral services at Glen Oaks Cemetery, 4301 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162.
