Bienvenido Abrera Barrientos, 95, of Bolingbrook passed away on September 25, 2021. He was born on November 19, 1925 in Jolo, Sulu, Philippines. He was married to his beloved wife Gloria Barrientos for 70 years, who preceded him in death. He was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan.

He is survived by his children Santiago (Brenda) Barrientos, Bienvenido Jr. (Gloria) Barrientos, Ada (Roberto) Medina, S. Ramon Barrientos, Fermin (Annie) Barrientos, and April (Stein) Garcia; his grandchildren Erwin, Patrick, Albert, Roberto Jr., Joy, Joanne, Michael, Christopher, Melissa, and Matthew; his great-grandchildren Dominic, Andrea, Emily, Coren, Kendrik, Noah, Alejandrina, Malia, Aaliyah, and Laszlo; and his great-great grandchildren Ellie and Camille.

A LiveStream will start on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 3:30 p.m. CST for chapel prayers at the funeral home Then, the family will be delivering eulogies at 4:45 p.m. CST where the LiveStream will begin again for family and friends to join in.
