Brian Michael Bennecke, a beloved husband, son, father, and cherished member of his family, passed away August 10, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love that will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Brian was the beloved husband of Jenni (Smith), and the cherished son of Fran (Sandy) Evans, The late Dan (Maria) Bennecke and son-in-law of Kevin and Patti Smith. He was a loving father to Shannon Bennecke and bonus daughter Samantha (Sami) Kennedy-Humble.

Family was an important part of Brian’s life. He will be remembered not only for the roles he held within his family, but for the love, memories, and moments he shared with those closest to him. Some of Brian's most treasured hobbies included fishing, riding his motorcycle, and bring with his many friends. His presence brought meaning to the lives of the people around him, and his absence will be deeply felt.

Brian leaves behind a family who loved him dearly and who will carry his memory forward in the days and years to come.

Though he is no longer with them in person, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain forever. Those we love never truly leave us. They live on in our hearts, in our memories, and in the lives they touched.

Brian Michael Bennecke will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
