Carlotta Ann Giugliano Cessna

Passed away unexpectedly on December 4th 2021 at the age of 54 in her home in Michigan.

She was born in Chicago, IL on January 13th 1967 the daughter of Tony and Camille Giugliano. On September 23rd 1989 she married the love of her life Bill Cessna and shared 32 years of marriage.

Carlotta graduated from Downers Grove South in 1985. Her love and passion for animals was infectious and cherished by many. She was co-founder and president of Humane Haven Animal Shelter in Bolingbrook for over 16 years. She brought passion and love to everything and everyone she met. She worked many different jobs including pre-school teacher, veterinarian technician, animal hospital manager, and service industry manager. She brought her enthusiasm and hard working attitude to everything she did. She was a role model for so many and will be dearly missed by all.

She is survived by her husband Bill, her two sons Billy and Matthew, her grandchildren Mason and Brody, her parents Tony and Camille Giugliano, and her brother Tony Giugliano.

Visitation Wednesday, 3-8pm at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home 530 W. Boughton Rd. Bolingbrook,IL. 60440.

Family & Friends to gather Thursday at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church
1450 Green Trails Drive Naperville, IL 60540, Mass 11:00am.
Interment private.
