Carmela W. Elliott
August 4. 1949- September 13, 2024

The memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 11,
2024 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Bolingbrook (310
DuPage Drive, 60440), with Brother Jose Bacerra officiating.

Carmela was born August 4, 1949 in Croswell, Michigan to Coultzin (Sr.) and
Andrea (Hernandez) Willars. She was a Jehovah's Witness since the age of 18,
which led her to meet her husband Dennis. She married Dennis L. Elliott on
May 26, 1973 in Melrose Park.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Samantha Aja Elliott
and Jessica Lyn Holt of Aurora; two grandchildren, Alexander James
Holt and Madyson Taylor Musinski; six sisters, including Sarah Maryann
Becker of McHenry; and six brothers.

Carmela was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Taylor Lee
Elliott (September 19, 1985-January 9, 1993), who passed away from
Progeria. Carmela was committed to helping her son fight this awful
disease and his death in 1993 shattered all of us, especially his mother.

In addition to being a homemaker, Carmela managed several businesses with her husband
and provided care for her parents and grandchildren. She also shared her love of food with others, donating her time as a cook for over 15 years.

Carmela thoroughly enjoyed road trips, spending time with her family and friends,
watching classic movies, and listening to music. She was an avid supporter of the
Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, and San Antonio Spurs.
