Catherine Rose Lyons, age 43, was the beloved fiancé of Mike Glibka,
cherished daughter of Charles "Skip" and Thao "Moon" Lyons,
dear sister to Lori Ann (Wayne) and Gary (Jennifer),
fond Aunt to Andrew and Nathan, dog mom to CoCo and the late Riley and Snowball.

Cathy was a true animal lover and spent much of her career in the pet retail industry in
many capacities. She was passionate about volunteering and organizing events to
raise money and awareness for animal charities. Cathy had so much knowledge about
animals that she was a great source of information and experience, you would never
know she did not go to veterinary school. In her spare time, Cathy enjoyed spending
quality time with her family and friends. Especially her nephews, Andrew and Nathan.
She was happiest taking the boys to the zoo, museums, bowling, fishing or being their
cameraperson filming silly videos. Cathy had a quirky sense of humor. She would joke
and laugh during the most awkward moments, putting the people around her at ease
and making those moments no longer awkward.

During the past couple of years, Cathy endured one health issue after another with a strong,
brave face. She was a true fighter. Cathy will be sorely missed by so many who truly loved
her and she loved in return.

Cathy's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday. June 14, 2025, from 11:00am until
2:00pm located at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium, 530 West
Boughton Road, Bolingbrook IL 60440.
Prayer service will begin at 1:30pm, Father Pat Murphy presiding.
