Charles "Bud" Kostecka, of Crown Point, Indiana, passed away peacefully,
surrounded by his family, on Monday, November 6, 2023, at the age of 74.
Bud was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
He will be remembered most for his love of baseball, fishing,
and music, especially The Beatles. His memory will live on in the hearts of those that loved him.

Bud is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy, his children Joan Konieczny, Karen (Tim) Holt,
Michael (Jaime) Kostecka, and Jillian Langer, stepchildren Geoff Zikas, Bradley (Nelou) Zikas,
Samantha (Scott) Rovn, and grandchildren Randy, Ryan, Robert Jr., Kate, Zoe, Nicholas,
Anthony, Quinn, Cora, Sydney, Zander, and Parker, as well as brothers Edward (Skip),
Lawrence (Larry), and Joseph, and sisters Christine and Jeanne.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Phyllis, brothers Phillip (Chip), and John
(Jack), and sister Mary Jo.

A private celebration of life with friends and family will be held at a later date.
