Obituary

Charles S. Rocush, 84, of Bolingbrook, IL, formerly of Cicero, IL peacefully passed on July 3rd, 2026. He was known and loved by many and whether you called him Sonny, Mr. Rocush, Chuck, Charley, Dad, Pops, Papa, Pop, Grandpa, Uncle Chuck, or PB, we are sure you had his love, support and advice.

His family is blessed with fond memories, love, lots of laughter, kindness and more dry humor than sand in the Sahara. Chuck touched many lives over the years in sales, extended education, law enforcement, retail, his longtime memberships in the American Sokol organization, the Lithuanian Red Rose and his proud honor of serving in the United States Marine Corps. When he wasn’t working, he could be found coaching his kids baseball teams or attending his kids, and later his grandkids, sporting events where he quickly (and unavoidably) became the loudest fan on the sidelines. His love for fishing and the second amendment rivaled only by his sarcasm and work ethic (both traits lovingly passed on to his children).

Chuck is survived by his beloved wife Carol (Drozd) Rocush, his children Cara (Scott) Craft, and Colleen Swinarski, CJ (Gina) Rocush, Casey (Lindsay) Rocush.. His grandchildren; Jordan, McAna, Riot, Chaz, Mila, AJ, Audrey and Caleb. As well as, many dear extended family and cherished friends.
