Charles (Charlie) A. Siefert, age 79 of Bolingbrook, passed away at his home on October 9, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy (Bonifer) Siefert and will be remembered as an amazing father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
Surviving Charlie are his children Christopher (Lisa) Siefert, Amy (George) Volochati, Julie Williams, Nathan (Ashley) Siefert; grandchildren Samantha, Sabrina and Sonya Siefert, Drew (Patricia) Volochati, Griffin (Olivia) Volochati, Hailey, Blake and Shawn Williams, August Siefert; great grandchildren Cash and Ophelia Volochati; sister Kathleen Korbel; sister-in-law Jane (Michael) McCauley; niece Jennifer Korbel, and nephews John (Krystina Lewis) Korbel and Shawn (Kimberly) McCauley.
Charlie was born in Chicago on September 5, 1945 to the late Clifford and Esther (Sonn) Siefert. He graduated from Bogan High School in 1963 and was drafted into the U.S. Army proudly serving in the Vietnam War.
After being discharged from the army, Charlie went to work for Illinois Bell, retiring after a 30-year career.
Charlie spent 40 years as a proud member of the Bolingbrook Lions Club where his commitment to service and enthusiasm for mentoring was appreciated by many and will be forever cherished.
Charlie enjoyed playing golf, "Lioning" in his office, he loved the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears, and going out to breakfast with friends.

A visitation for Charles is scheduled for Wednesday, October 23rd from 4 - 8 PM at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home located on 530 W. Boughton Rd. Bolingbrook, IL 60440. Interment is scheduled the following day, Thursday, October 24th at 11 AM at Resurrection Cemetery located on 200 W Romeo Rd. Romeoville, IL 60446.
