Charles Anthony Stellete, Sr. was born on February 19, 1956 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was the beloved son of the late Theresa and the late Jack Stellete and the youngest child with two sisters; Jacquelyn and Kathy. Charles, who was known by most as Chuck.
Chuck met his wife of 41 years, Karen Grillo Stellete, during a visit to his dentist where she worked as a dental assistant. They were married in 1984 on April's Fool Day. They had two children together; Stephanie and Charles, Jr. (C.J.).
Karen moved their family from Louisiana to Illinois in 1991. Chuck worked as a trade show carpenter for Nth Degree until he retired in 2018. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He died peacefully on February 8, 2026, with his family at his side.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; his daughter, Stephanie (Matthew) Lambin and their two children, William and Sophia; his son, C.J. and his son, Jackson; his sister, Jacquelyn (Gary) Hezeau; his niece, Cherie (Gary) Sims and their son, Gary; his nephew Al (Amber) Hezeau and their two children, Hailey and Brandon; and his sister, Kathy Hellfrich, and her children, Kathy Ann, Kelly, and Johnny.
