Cheryl A. Hays, formerly of Bolingbrook, passed on January 28, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Charles "Pete" and the late Pauline Hays of Chicago and was born on December 2, 1952. Cheryl was a devoted daughter and a loving mother. She worked for the Village of Lisle for over 20 years before retiring. Soon after, she began working for the Bolingbrook Park District where she retired in August of 2021. Known for her contagious smile and kind demeanor, Cheryl impacted the lives of many. She was an avid genealogist and enjoyed sharing her family history with others. She was a lifelong Cubs fan, spending many happy days at Wrigley Field. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda and grand-pup, Maya, and her cousin, Alisa (Don) Buchanan.

Interment private. A private family memorial will be held at a later time.
