Deborah "Debbie" Doucet (nee Stetz), age 68, of Bolingbrook, passed away on May 12, 2025.
Beloved wife of the late George R. Doucet.
Loving sister of Carole Raspanti, Sandra Carpenter and Laurie Smith.
Dear sister-in-law of two, and cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She made many longtime friends in her lifetime that will miss her dearly. Particularly Linda Stanislaw and Joanne O'Connor, her best friends for 54 years.

Due to her love of animals, Debbie was a vet technician her entire life. She saved whatever animals she could. She bottle-fed abandoned baby kittens at home. She also fostered many until they were able to go to their forever homes. She will be missed by her fur babies left behind. Stevie, her dog and her cats Nick, Patrick, Noah and Johnny.

She had a great love for mermaids, lighthouses, all things leopard and being the co-captain of their boat, "R" Shangrila. Debbie loved sitting outside in her yard enjoying the birds, her plants and flowers.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. The event details will be posted as soon as they are available.
