Dolores Helene von Schwedler (nee Ristau), age 95, passed away on February 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Dolores was the beloved wife to Peter F. von Schwedler, cherished daughter of the late Emil and the late Evelyn Ristau, loving Mom of Robert (Debra) von Schwedler, Richard (Janet) von Schwedler, and Peter (Dianna) von Schwedler, proud Grandma and Oma of Erika (Corban) Wood, Alicia (Jonathon) Collins, Olivia von Schwedler, Tracy Whittenhall, Annette Ciro, Sarah (Jason) West, Richard D. von Schwedler, and Rachel (Nathan), dear great-Grandma and great-Oma of Bruce, Kaylyn, Madison, Michael, Alexandria, Cassandra, Caroline, Justin, Derek, Lukas, John, David, Evelyn, and Amelia, great-great Grandma and great-great Oma of Isabelle, adored sister to the late Donna (Harold) Nehmzow, fond aunt and great-aunt, cousin to Sandee (late Ken) Stork, and missed by all.

Her visitation will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m., located at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium, 530 West Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440. Family and friends to gather the following day, Friday, March 6, 2026, at the funeral home, beginning at 9:00 a.m. for Dolores' chapel service. The chapel service is to then begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment to conclude her funeral services at Arlington Cemetery, 401 East Lake Street, Elmhurst, Illinois 60126.
