Dorothy Nekola

Age 95, passed away Saturday January 18, 2025. A long-time resident of Woodridge, formerly of Stickney. She was a member of the Downers Grove Community Church for 57 years and will be remembered for her faith and love for her family.

She is survived by her loving children Gary (Diane) Nekola, Raymond Nekola, Wayne (Debbie) Nekola; grandchildren Jennifer (Todd) Wargo, Kimberly (Sean Malik) Nekola, Adam (Nicole Cvetnic) Nekola, Kylie (Alex Rivera) Nekola: great grandchildren Deacon Wargo, Brooklyn Malik, Greyson Wargo, Maddie Malik, Colston Wargo, Ellie Cvetnic-Nekola, Norah Rivera, Margot Cvetnic-Nekola, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband William Nekola, son David Nekola, sister Lavergne Vukov and parents
Frank and Josephine Doleska.

Visitation Friday, January 24, 2025 from 4 to 8 pm at McCauley Sullivan Funeral Home, 530 W Boughton Rd, Bolingbrook, IL 60440. Funeral Saturday, January 25th, 2025 at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Darien, IL.
