Edmund Charles Morissette, son of Robert Morissette and Isabella (Condon) Morissette, brother to Mary Ann (Morissette) Sorenson, husband to Keiko (Kunishige) Morissette, and father to Robert (Sara) Lake, Tyson (Lisa) Lake, and Mary (Andrew) Knapp, left this earth better than when he entered it.

He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy, raised three children not of his own blood with love, and dutifully stayed by his wife's side of twenty-one years until her final days. Family and friends always came first to Ed. A close second was Elvis, the Bears, the White Sox, and the city of Chicago. Ed leaves behind his loving sister, Mary Ann, his three children, his partner Erin McGowan, five grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Ed also leaves behind an indelible mark on the hearts of all of those he encountered.

A private service will be held at Queen of Heaven cemetery at 11:00 a.m., on May 11th, 2021.

In lieu of sending flowers or memorial gifts to the family, they would like to invite you to donate to a local Veterans' service organization of your choice in memory of Ed.
