Eliezer C. Ventura, Sr. was the beloved husband of Ester for 65, beautiful years, loving father of Joy (Alden) Sagrado, Eliezer, Jr, (Maureen), Glen (Louise), Allan (Ruth), Cecille (Orion) Truver, Ronald, and Karen (Adam) Blanquart, proud grandfather of Laura, Samantha (Adam), Nathan, Joseph (Maria), Patrick, Shannon, and Kaitlyn, great-grandfather to Ezra and Caleb, dear brother, fond uncle of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, cousin and friend of many, and missed by all.
Eliezer was an avid fishermen and loved casting his lines on beautiful days. Beautiful days such as the days at Wrigley Field. He was finally able to witness a Chicago Cubs World Series victory after being a Cubs fan for so long. He thoroughly enjoyed food. He loved sharing meals with his family and spending time and traveling with them. Above all else, Eliezer loved God. He was known as a 'spiritual leader.' He will be missed sorely by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting honorary donations to be made to the family at the visitation in Eliezer's honor. In turn, they will be sending all donations to the Philippines. Eliezer took great pride in taking care of his family, friends, and fellow citizens back home.
Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022, from 12 to 2 p.m. A Funeral Service is scheduled from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Interment at a future date.
