Emily Mary Maluck, age 18, of Bolingbrook, IL, quietly passed away on July 23, 2021. She was born on March 5, 2003, in Downers Grove, IL. Emily was such a kind-hearted, funny, compassionate, and loving spirit who enjoyed life to the fullest. She was always looking to her loving parents and the
strong faith and support of her church family to guide her through each new experience in her life.

Emily had so many talents and had a passion trying new things. She excelled in her musical abilities beginning with guitar at a very young age and moved on to trumpet from 6th grade through high school playing proudly as a Marching Raider. Emily was also very athletic in gymnastics and playing on several volleyball teams. She developed a love for makeup offering her stage skills to many of her brother Dylan's plays. She recently graduated from Bolingbrook High School and her incredible strength helped her push through any challenge life threw at her. She was excited to start her new adventure at the Tricoci University of Beauty Culture to begin her career as an esthetician and makeup artist. Her dream was to one day make her way into film work as a special effects artist – and she would have been spectacular.

Emily was at her happiest when giving to others, helping so many through/by volunteering at summer mission trips and leading younger kids at church. She would come in early and stay late to make sure everyone was taking care of and felt included. She loved her family dearly and that extended to her church family and friends. Emily felt so blessed to be able to experience these things with her best friend and sister, Lily and finding new and creative ways to tease her brother Dylan.

Loved ones that will miss Emily include her parents Dawn and John, sister Lilianna, and brother Dylan of Bolingbrook, maternal grandfather John (Jan) Noplos of Hutchinson, MN, maternal grandmother Margaret (Jim Reese) Galster of Las Cruces, NM, paternal grandmother Mary Ann Sowa of Oak Lawn, IL and many, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will forever hold her in their hearts. Emily is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Paul "Papa" Sowa, cousin Jaxson Carlson, and Uncle Jimmy Noplos (who is also her birthday buddy).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 28th from 4-7pm at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home 530 W. Boughton Rd, Bolingbrook, IL 60440.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 29th at Westbrook Christian Church located at 1175 Lily Cache Ln, Bolingbrook, IL 60490. Friends and family are welcome for visitation at 11am, service begins at 12pm.
