Estrelita De La Vega passed away at the age of 80. She was the loving wife of the late Antonio, cherished mother of Constantine "Ting" and Louis (Judy Kaye), adored daughter of the late Constante and Criselda, dear sister of the late May, and Constante, Jr., fond aunt to many nieces and nephews, cousin to many, and missed by all.

She was a dutiful nurse for over 32 years. She was a longtime member of the Filipino Friendship Society, lifetime member of the Philippine Nurses Association of Illinois, and member of the Forever Young Cook County Retired Nurses.
