Frank Joseph Herodes was born on March 22, 1940 and passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 84 with his loving family by his side. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Josephine (nee Ziegler) Herodes and son-in-law William "Bill" Sturgeon. Frank is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joan (nee Larson) Herodes and children, Michael (Linda) Herodes, Cathy Sturgeon, Nancy Herodes, Karen (Robert) Wynard, Frank (Tina) Herodes and Susan (Jason) Andersen. He's cherished by his 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Frank was very proud of his large family. He enjoyed nature, fishing and gardening. He had a passion for growing orchids.

The Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., located at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium, 530 West Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440. A Funeral Service will begin at 6:30 p.m. that evening. Private Inurnment on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Resurrection Cemetery, 200 West Romeo Road, Romeoville, Illinois 60446.
