Greg Jacobs of Bolingbrook, IL, passed away on March 23, 2026, at the age of 63.
Greg grew up in Hinsdale and was the youngest of three children born to Melvin and Mabel Jacobs.

Greg was the beloved husband of Donna (Married in 1989), and loving father of Nicholas (Amy Jordan)
and Ryan (fiancée Hannah Priem).

Greg was devoted to God, his family, and his community. He was an active member of Friendship Church for over 20 years. He served as Cub Master for Pack 38 and a leader of Boy Scout Troop 35. Greg coached both sons in BYBL (baseball) for several years. Greg was a dad to be counted on to chaperone school and church outings. He was a member of the Bolingbrook parade and plan commissions during the 90/00's.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Michael Anderson, and sister-in-law Alice Jacobs.

Greg is survived by his sister, Gale Anderson, and brother Richard (Lesa) Jacobs, and their children and grandchildren.

Greg's wife, Donna, and sons Nick and Ryan, will host a celebration of Greg's life at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 530 West Boughton Rd., on April 11. Light refreshments sampling some of Greg's favorites from around town will start at 1 pm. Rev. Jimmy Cooper, Lead Pastor of The Way Church of suburban St. Louis, will deliver the message at 3pm. Visitation concludes at 4pm.
