Obituary

J. Ronald Yost was born on July 10th, 1944, in the town of Pottstown, Pennsylvania to parents James Russell Yost and Helen Gofus. Arline (Garber) Yost also helped raise him, as his step-mother. Ron attended high school at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, Pennsylvania where he graduated in 1962. Post high school he attended Pennsylvania State University for two years. Departing college, Ronald led a career in management from which he would retire. It was the year 1965 that he married the lovely Carolyn Ann Albright with whom he would later have two beautiful children Joy and Jeffrey. During his lifetime, he moved from Pottstown, Pennsylvania to Richmond, Virginia in 1969, and later to Bolingbrook, Illinois in 1979. Ron was a well-known member of New Life Lutheran Church in Bolingbrook. He eventually settled in Naperville, Illinois where he would remain. J. Ronald Yost entered eternal rest on Saturday, February 28th of 2015 at Loyola Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
Ron was an outstanding husband, father, and grandfather for which he was cement that held them close. He is survived and will be deeply missed by his wife Carolyn, his daughter Joy and son-in-law Martin Bullard, as well as his son Jeffrey and his daughter-in-law Judith. Ron also has seven grandchildren he will be watching over, Crystal, Maribeth, Courtney, Dylan, Ethan, Lauren, and Grace.
We will gather for a time of remembrance and a Memorial Service will be held at New Life Lutheran Church, at 249 N. Bolingbrook Dr., Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440. The time for gathering to remember & celebrate Ron's life will be from 10am-11am, with the service starting at 11am. A luncheon will follow directly after the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Life Lutheran Church in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
