James P. Cannon, age 89 of Bolingbrook passed away peacefully October 6th, 2026.

Beloved husband of the late Barbara A. Cannon.

Loving father of Kimberly Cannon, Michelle (Chadwick) Goodmanson and Michael (Dana) Cannon.

Proud grandpa of James, Chase, Ashley, Emily & Madalynn. 

Cherished great grandpa of Mackenzie, Jayson & Lainey.  

Dear brother of the late Hugh Cannon, Maureen Dunphy & Kathleen Immenhausen. 

Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. 

Jim was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and a dedicated postal worker for many years. He will be dearly missed by his loving family & friends.  

Visitation Friday, October 9th, from 4:00pm-8:00pm.  Funeral Saturday, October 10th, 9:45am chapel prayers at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home 530 W. Boughton Rd. Bolingbrook, IL. 60440 to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Mass 10:30am.  Private Interment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery on Monday, October 12th, 2026.
