James F Herron, born December 20th, 1938 of Woodridge, IL,
passed away on November 20th, 2023, at the age of 84.

James was preceded in death by his parents Garfield and Rose Herron,
his siblings Gary (Shelly), Jerome (Linda), and Mary-Ann Herron (Raymond),
and his son James Herron Jr. (Marion).

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joanne "Sis" Herron,
daughter Jennifer [Herron] Kyriakopoulos (Chris),
his sister Carolyn, his grandchildren Sean-Patrick,
Kate-Lynn, Rosie, Maria, Demi, and James.
as well as multiple cousins, nieces, and nephews.

James was a devoted Christian who enjoyed studying scripture and furthering
his education in his profession of pest extermination.
James was a second-generation owner and proprietor of Garfield Exterminators,
which was founded in Hot Springs, Arkansas, in 1949.

Visitation Friday, December 1st from 9 am until time of Service 10:00 am
at Independent Baptist Church, 380 W. Boughton Rd, Bolingbrook, IL., 60440.
Following the services, James will be laid to rest at Memory Lane Park and Funeral Home, 6305 Lincoln Highway, Crown Point, IN., 46307.
In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions should be made to Joanne Herron.
