Jeffrey Allen Andersen, age 59, was the beloved husband of Colleen (nee McGeary); cherished son of the late James William, Sr. and the late Jane (nee Orrel) Tomblinson; loved step-son of George Junior Tomblinson; and devoted son in law of Ralph and Darlene (nee Gartland) McGeary; loving father of Nathan (Tricia) and Nicolle (Matthew) Oldenburg; proud Papa of Elliette Jane (Elli Bean) and Emelia Russell (Silly Goose); dear brother of: James William, Jr. (Jeanette), Sherry (Greg) Whitman, Ronnie Tomblinson, Debbie Franklin, Becky McIntyre, Charlie (Rhonda) Tomblinson, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews, friend to many, and missed by all.

Jeffrey was a proud 20-year veteran of the United States Army. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and the American Legion. Jeffrey loved the great outdoors. He thoroughly enjoyed hunting, trail riding, and fishing. Jeffrey appreciated his time with friends and family around a blazing bon fire. Jeff never met a stranger and was a friend to all. He was known for his quick wit, big heart and his willingness to help in any situation. He loved to work with his hands and tell stories with his loved ones. Jeff's greatest accomplishment was becoming the World's Best Papa (because Partner in Crime made him sound like a bad influence). He loved his days at the Cabin teaching the girls to catch frogs and feeding the deer and the boayds. "Boop"

Memorial Visitation Friday, August 6, 2021 from 4 to 8pm. Funeral Service at 7:00pm at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home and Crematorium, 530 West Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440. Interment private.
