Sadly, our beloved Jennifer Ann Snyder, 55, passed away on December 23rd, 2024.
Born on April 18th, 1969, to Jeannine Coha and Paul Hickman, Jen was known for her strength, quick wit, and undeniably loving spirit she brought into the world.
Jen met the love of her life and beloved husband, John Snyder of 32 years, when they were children together. Long time neighbors, Jen and John began dating as high schoolers and went on to marry on September 12th, 1992.
Among Jen's greatest accomplishments was raising her three children, Jake, Jillian, and Julia, whom she held as her pride and joy. Even amidst challenges life brought her way, Jen did everything she could to provide her family with a loving and fun-filled life.
Jen worked as the Chief Sales Officer and later Chief Evangelist for GovQA, where she was revered for her excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, and ability to connect with others. Whether in small conversations or before large crowds, Jen created an engaging and motivating environment that made lasting impressions on everyone she came across.
An avid yogi, Jen worked tirelessly to become a certified yoga instructor so she could share the benefits of the practice with others. Jen also loved to travel, and one of her greatest joys was exploring local restaurants and sampling new foods. Jen found happiness in using food as a way to connect with loved ones, creating lasting memories with family and friends. Blessed with a green thumb, Jen's home garden was always overflowing with fresh vegetables and blooming flowers, a testament to her nurturing spirit.
Jen is lovingly remembered by her husband, their three children, her mother and father, her sister, along with many other loved ones throughout her life. With an extensive family tree that included both relatives and bonds formed from the heart, Jen's influence was far and wide, and she was cherished deeply by many.
To honor Jen's life, her visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th from 1-5 pm at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home located on 530 W. Boughton Rd. Bolingbrook, IL 60440.
