Jim H. Green, Jr. was the beloved husband to the late Betty Green, cherished son of the late Jim, Sr. and the late Ollie Green, loving father of Kelly (Rimas) Cicenas, Robert (Tracy) Green, Michael (Jason) Gurley, Teresa Hoard, and the late Betty Denise Ayday, proud grandfather of Kaitlyn Cicenas, Ryan Cicenas, George Wood, Roxanne Wood, Megan Wood, and Aydin Ayday, fond great-grandfather, dear brother to Jerry (Barbara Jo) Green, the late Betty Brumley, and the late Charlie Green, uncle to nieces and nephews, cousin to many, and missed by all.

Jim was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Family and friends will gather for the burial on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., located at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 West Hoff Road, Elwood, Illinois 60421. His military honors and a funeral service will also begin at 11:00 a.m. at the committal shelter. Please arrive prior to 11:00 a.m. in order to join the family for the funeral services and burial of Mr. Jim H. Green, Jr.
