Joan Annie Mamie (Buhr) Crapo, age 84, of Bolingbrook, Il, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Savior, on June 1, 2026, while surrounded by her family at the home of her daughter, Dayna (Crapo) Mason.

Joan, the daughter of Bert and Pauline (Troester) Buhr, was born October 6, 1941, in Dubuque, IA, and was married to David G. Crapo on February 11, 1962. Joan is survived by her husband David, three daughters, Debra Vian (Michael), Denise Jones (Tommy) and Dayna Mason (Don); one son, Daniel Crapo; two nephews; two nieces, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joan was preceded in death by infant son, Gregory Scott Crapo; both parents and one brother, Fred Buhr.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the hospice nurses and staff, and with a special thank you to Lauren, Mary Jane and Kaitlyn. We are so grateful for each one of you!
