It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our mother, Joann Patricia Hurley Dublinski, who left us on October 12, 2024, after a beautifully lived life. Joann was born November 4, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended Judge Memorial Catholic High School and the University of Utah. She married her college sweetheart Thomas E. Dublinski and raised five children.
Full of love, laughter, and resilience, Joanne touched the lives of all who knew her. She was predeceased by her parents, William Daniel Hurley, Evelyn "Sapphire" Long, her brother William Daniel Hurley III, her beloved husband Thomas E. Dublinski, and finally her loyal dog Buster.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Michael (Susan), Karen Ann Young (George), William James (Eudora), Mary Jo Ann Felstrup (Paul), and Richard Edward (Katherine). She also has twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
A memorial service for Joann will be held on Monday November 4, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McCauley Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium located on 530 West Boughton Road in Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440. A prayer service will begin at 4:15 p.m., with memorial visitation afterwards. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. the next morning (Tuesday) at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic church located on 36 North Ellsworth Street, Naperville Illinois. After the funeral mass, the burial ceremony will occur at the Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery located on 911 North Avenue, Naperville Illinois 60540.
