JoAnn Jorgensen French was the loving mother of the late Emily French, Laura (Dan) Smetters, and Megan (Jason) Young, cherished Grandma J of Jacob and Claire Smetters and Dane Young, and dear sister to Jean (Vern) Walker and Cathy (Ben) Bensaid.

JoAnn's family meant the world to her. She wholeheartedly loved being a grandma to her three grandchildren. She also has so many fond memories with her family over the years, especially at the cranberry marsh. One of her favorite hobbies was crocheting. JoAnn proudly served the healthcare industry for decades and over the years her work associates became family. She spread her joy and love throughout her incredible life will be tremendously missed by her family and friends.

The Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium, 530 West Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440.
