Jodi Dorgan, 83, Remembered with Love
Jodi (Billie Josephine) Dorgan, 83, passed away on February 11, 2025. She was born on January 15, 1942, in Pekin, IL, to John William and Alice (Hines) Alsop, building a life filled with love, kindness, and connection.
Jodi was a devoted mother to Doug (Chip) and his wife, Patty; Tiffany and her husband, Bob; and the late Bradley and his wife, Heather. She was a proud grandmother to Kelsey, AJ, Tyler, Jen, Kirsten, Tristan, Patrick, and Ryan, and a cherished great-grandmother to Berkley Josephine, her namesake. She was also a beloved sister to Pam, Cyndi Cantrell, and Cyndi's husband, Dennis. She was a treasured aunt to Justin, Courtney, and Brian.
Jodi had a remarkable way of making life more beautiful. A successful real estate agent, she had a keen eye for homes and an even greater gift for forming meaningful connections with others. She was an avid reader, a crossword puzzle master, and a bingo champion with an unbeatable streak. Her green thumb was legendary, and her gardens flourished under her care.
A true socialite, Jodi made friends everywhere she went and was the life of every party. She had an appreciation for the finer things in life and a generosity that made holidays and gatherings unforgettable. She was a devoted dog mom and an animal lover at heart, always offering kindness to both people and pets alike.
More than anything, Jodi was a source of love and comfort—always ready with a warm hug and a listening ear. Her presence made the world a brighter place, and she will be deeply missed.
