John "Jack" Lynch was the cherished son of Humphrey and the late Mary (nee Davis) Lynch who were born and raised in Ireland, loving father of Sean, dear brother of Patrick (Lynda) Lynch, Margaret (Jim) Kaczmarski, and Noreen (Russ) Lona-Weber, fond uncle of Kristin Lynch, Katie, Michael, and Emily Kaczmarski, and Stephanie, Bridgette, and Andrew Lona, friend to many, and missed by all.

Jack was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was also a long-time member of the Local 399, Operating Engineers Union. Jack loved his Chicago sports, especially the White Sox and Cubs.

The family will be holding a private service for Jack at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum.
