John Albert Ruggiero, age 86, was the beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Waisnor), cherished son of the late Albert and the late Sarah (nee Piazza) Ruggiero, devoted Dad of John (Donna), Steve (Colleen), Lisa, and Cindy (Robert) Milne, loving grandfather of Ami (Brandon) Laue, Jenna (Jameson) Smith, Danielle (Jonathan) Gonzalez, T.J. (Sydney), Nicholas (Erin), Claire, Jessica Ruggiero, Sarah, Amanda, and Angelina Gilbert, Jake (Shelby) Milne, Lindsay, Samantha, Ally, and Jason Milne, proud great-grandfather to Avalynn Laue, Jase Smith, Maverick and Easton Gonzalez, and Jackson Ruggiero, dear brother of Sam, Richard (Nikki), and Carmella (Michael) Scaccia, friend to many, and missed by all.

John was a proud member for over 60 years of the Local 597 Pipefitters Union-Chicago.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Chapel prayers will begin at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
