Born Julia Leon in 1942 in the Island of Puerto Rico.

Julia resided in the Chicago area for most of her life and worked for the Chicago Transit Authority. She was mother to 3 sons, Jose, Samuel, and Saul, and two daughters, Maria and Abigail. Julia was grandmother to Jason, Joseph, Roy, Michael, Veronica, Brianna, and Nicholas, and great grandmother to Amaya, Roy jr, Chloe, Abigail, Violet, Athena, and Loralai.

Julia was married to Gerald M. Cruzen in August of 2018.

Julia loved God! She dedicated herself to praying for everyone she knew. She provided bibles to many friends and family members over the years. She was known to spend what little she had to benefit others.

Julia has lived her life as a journey to grow closer to her Eternal Father in Heaven. She was a member of the Burridge Seventh Day Adventist Church. Julia now rests in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior at the Naperville Cemetery in Naperville IL. Her presence is dearly missed by all those who knew her and loved her dearly.
