It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Kalyani Shanmugavelayutham (67) wife of 40 years of Ramasamy Shanmugavelayutham, loving mother of Swapna, Shobana and Rameya, cherished daughter of S.Thayumana Ramalingam (dcsd), Ponnamal Ramalingam (89), dear sister of Suresh, Mythily and Rama and dedicated 40-year devotee of the Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago and Sri Venkateswara Swami (Balaji) Temple. She is survived by her husband Ramasamy (77), her daughter Swapna (38), daughter Shobana (38), son-in-law Osgul Rene Zepeda Munos, daughter Rameya (35), son-in-law Asif Ali Majid.

Funeral Services are at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium. Viewing and visitation from 10am to 11:30am. Eulogy 11:30 to noon. Puja from noon to 1pm. For more information please call (630) 759-1212.
