Kara Jane Madsen was a loving and cherished mother survived by her children Kaitlan Madsen and Joshua Madsen and her former husband and close friend John. She was the daughter to John and Mary Jane Arnold. She was loved by her furry babies Merlin (passed) and Mozart. She was a cherished sister to the late John (Lisa) and aunt to Jordan Alyse. She was loved by many as she treated her friends and community as family. She will be missed dearly by all.

Above all, she chose to walk through this world with love and light. She always had a little bit of sunshine, color, and wonder to share with anybody who asked.

Her celebration of life will be held Wednesday, June 4th from 4pm to 7pm at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral home, located at 530 West Boughton Rd, Bolingbrook IL 60440. Her chapel service will begin at 6pm that evening, Pastor Glen Morden presiding. Please do not wear all black - Her only request was that we all wear color and that we "dance on her grave" to remember that her loss may be sad but we can still find joy through the tears of missing her warmth.
