Karl Fredrick Raymond was a deeply cherished husband to the late Pamela Natschke, and his love for her will be remembered forever.
He was the beloved son of Karl Herman Emil and Agnes Natschke, and a devoted father to Caroline Walsh (James Mehling) and Karl Natschke (Adenike). His role as a grandfather was one, he cherished immensely, and he took great joy in the lives of his grandchildren: John Walsh, Emma Walsh, Gwyneth Natschke, and Wyatt Natschke.
Karl was also a fond uncle to many, including Patricia Lenius, Deborah Natschke, Sandra Hovet, Karl Natschke, Constance Natschke, Fredrick Natschke, Steven Natschke, Daniel Natschke, and the late Jeffrey DeLisle. His family was a source of pride and deep affection throughout his life. To his nieces and nephews, he was lovingly called & Mr. Wonderful, a testament to the warmth and
kindness he brought to their lives.
A proud veteran, Karl served in the Army during the Korean War from 1958 to 1960. Following his military service, he dedicated his career to the railroad company before moving on to work for AH Entertainers, where he remained until his retirement in 2000.
While living in Billings, MT, Karl, a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church, found solace in his faith. In 2020, after facing the challenges of a stroke during the pandemic, he returned to Illinois to be with Karl Alfred and his family, receiving their love and support in his later years.
A memorial service will be held in his honor this summer, as we gather together to celebrate and remember the life of a truly remarkable man.
