Keith J.Surges, 59 of Bolingbrook, formerly of Lombard passed away peacefully on December 9, 2014 after a courageous battle with Appendix Cancer/Pseudomyxoma Peritonei. Devoted husband, soul mate and best friend of Therese. Extraordinary dad of Amy Miller, Mark Chellberg, Jr., Rachel (Kevin) Lynch and Kimberly Ballard. Preceded in death by his son, Keith Jr. Cherished son of Charlene (the late Robert) Surges, Brother of the late Penny (the late Robert) Bier, Pamela Kielma, Kathy (Gary) Neuses and Kevin (Vicki) Surges. Grandpa of Lexi and Tori Costa, Ryan and Briana Miller, Samantha and Meghan Lynch and Abigail and Benjamin Keith Ballard. Great Grandpa of Gavin Conway. Beloved son in-law of Wayne and Dolores Jackson. Keith was the uncle to many nieces and nephews and incredible brother in-law and a friend to countless people.
Keith worked for the Village of Lombard for nearly 38 years in the Public Works Department before retiring in 2011. He especially enjoyed traveling and golfing. Mostly he enjoyed time spent with family and friends.
