Kenneth Gary Lietz, 75, of Bolingbrook, IL, passed away on July 21, 2023 with his wife of 54 years Sandra
(West), daughter Robin Sutton, and granddaughter Caitlin Stockley by his side.
Ken, was born on November 26, 1947 to Doris (Wetzel) and Frank Lietz in St Louis, MO.
Ken graduated from Webster Groves High School and studied Psychology at the University of Missouri. Ultimately Ken went on to earn a bachelor's, master's, and an MBA. Ken was affectionately referred to as both "professor Ken" and "doctor Ken".
Ken began his working life as a teacher but transitioned into business very early.
Management positions with multiple franchises led to Ken founding his own company; JCL Manufacturing. Ken was a voracious reader and could be found most days researching market trends while reading a physics book, a sci-fi book, and one of the classics; at the same time. Additionally, Ken was a supporter of animal shelters and rescue organizations as well as veteran organizations.
