Kurt Rodger Vance, age 78, passed away July 2, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved and cherished Dad of Kimberly, Heather Winkler, Christine (Adrian) Soghigian, Elizabeth (Rodney) Vance-Clark, Matthew, and Michael (Jessica Cameron), dedicated grandpa Krista, Kaleb, and Logan Vance, Juliea, Ani, and Ava Soghigian, Brennan Winkler, and Raegan Vance, friend to many, and missed by all. Kurt was a very proud member of the National Rifle Association.

Visitation Thursday, July 15, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021, starting at 11:00 a.m. at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium, 530 W. Boughton Road Bolingbrook, IL. 60440. Interment will take place at Glenwood Cemetery, 308 E North 6th St, Shelbyville, Illinois, 62565, on Saturday, July 17, 2021.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a donation to be made to the Bolingbrook Police Benevolent Society (BPBS). There is an annual event, which is dedicated to assisting their members and their families during life-altering events.
