Obituary

A Priest, A Protector, and A Provider.

Larry Johnson Sr. lived a life full of accomplishments. It was two things that he did well. Larry knew who his Savior was, and he knew how to pray. Because of his faith, Larry was blessed with wisdom beyond his years. Larry knew that if he prayed in the name of Jesus, his prayers would be answered. His most prominent Prayer, in the basement of his mother's house at a young age; was for a Wife, a Family, Shelter, and means to provide. God gave everything Larry asked for because God's knowledge is infinite. He knew that Larry would not fail in preserving his Marriage, nor his Family.

No matter how bleak things may have seemed, Larry was right there. He had a plan when no one else did. He stood in and fought side by side through all trials and tribulations until the battle was done. He Protected, He Provided.

Larry shared endless knowledge with his Wife and children to raise them to follow the righteous path. He became a mentor to the children in the neighborhood to ensure that a community can be empowered. He became a Father figure to those who lacked one. He did this expecting nothing in return. A Priest

Larry extended his hand to family, to friends to in laws, to his childrens' friends; not only when they needed a hand, but if he thought they were in silent need. He fed, clothed and housed many relatives and unrelated children. He obeyed these commandments.

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind;

And Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

It is because of this I have witness with my eyes, a person who had a heart filled with the Holy Spirit. Larry prepared his family to stand united, and walk the path of righteousness through his transcendence to be with our Heavenly Father. Larry Johnson Sr. Left a legacy that will be felt for ages to come. He imparted wisdom that acknowledged God's presence when things were well and; experience to honor our Heavenly Father in prayer through tough times.

We were blessed for 59 Years and 100 days to encounter Larry Johnson Sr. And although his physical body may leave this Earth, His gentle Spirit will be here when we need him the most.

The Priest, The Protecter, The Provider.

Thank you Lord for allowing Larry Johnson Sr. To be my Father.

Rest In Peace.

Sincerely, Christopher Johnson
