Laurie A. Giovenco, 65, of Darien, IL, was born on September 14, 1957 to the late Russell Giovenco and the late Dolores Giovenco (nee Kobler) and passed away on November 28, 2022. Laurie was mother to Joshua (Julie) Giovenco and grandmother to Joseph & Connor; Sister to Linda Avey and Cathy (Emilo) Torres, Brother to Michael (Deborah), the late Anthony (Kathy). Aunt to Kristine, Kim, Julie, William, Rebecca, Denton, Adam, and Matthew; Great Aunt to Amber, Brett, John, Sabrina, & Samantha. Dear friend to Jeanne McDermott & Family and many other friends. Laurie is preceded in death by her parents Russell & Dolores, Brother Anthony Giovenco, Brother-in-law Howard Avey, Grandson Joseph Giovenco. At Laurie's request, her remains will be cremated. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 530 W Boughton Rd, Bolingbrook, IL 60440 from 4pm-7pm.
